Living with Intention After Diagnosis
A life-altering diagnosis changes life in an instant—bringing grief, uncertainty, and a sudden collapse of best-laid plans for a certain future. In this deeply moving and practical talk, Nona Jordan invites audiences living with chronic and progressive conditions into a fundamentally different conversation.
Rather than succumbing to fear or toxic positivity, Nona guides listeners to explore three essential questions:
What is true now?
Who do I want to be within this reality?
What is still mine to choose?
Key Takeaways for Your Audience:
From Battle to Belonging: A reframe of chronic condition language that replaces internal war with radical, embodied self-advocacy and care.
Making Magic Within Limits: Practical tools for honoring physical boundaries without surrendering creative power, authority, or joy.
Nervous System Regulation: Somatic practices to stabilize the body-mind when medical uncertainty or symptoms create internal panic.
