What do you want?
When you say what you want, when you write it down, when you daydream about what you want, what's your tone? Is it one of longing and impossibility or is it one of inevitability and conviction?
Look at the landscape of your life.
The relationships you've nurtured. The education, skills and gifts you've honed over the years. The space you live in. The work that you've crafted. The lives you've touched. The experience that has carved the depth and breadth of who you are. Even the things that feel out of place and misguided:: debt, excess weight, blah work, unsatisfying relationships.... take this in. You have been an active participant in creating it all.
Yes. Take in what you've created for yourself - all of it. See the power in each element of your creation. The truth will set you free: you are a creatrix. A manifester of the highest order. A warrior-goddess of creating darkness AND light.
So again, I ask. What do you want?
What do you want and what will it feel like to make that choice? How will you feel and what will it mean for you to arrive at having what you want rather than wishing for what you want to arrive?
For Christmas, I paid off my husband's Mercedes a year and a half early (on a 3 year loan). He wasn't convinced it was the best use of our money. I was. I made my case multiple times over the last three months. I knew that paying off that loan was going to free up psychic space and energy for the future instead of tying us to the past.
Much like when I decided to pay off our consumer debt (read: credit cards) and my car, I had an epiphany of sorts. I realized 1. what I was giving up if I didn't go after what I wanted (for me, freedom) 2.that I was the one that had created the debt and therefore 3. (most important) I had the power to get us out of debt.
We could talk hows and doing them with love and intention. I could tell you the hows of the debt payoff. We could talk about debt snowballs, budgeting and spending less than you earn.
Important information, the hows of change.
Let's face it. Reading about the hows doesn't do a damn thing to pay off the debt, build wealth, lose the weight, ditch the relationship, or grow the business. Nope.
Hows mean nothing until you ignite the fire in your belly. It means nothing until you believe. You must believe that you can have and will have what you want for yourself. You must believe that you have the power to make it happen. You must believe that you have what it takes to show up and take action every day until you have made it so.
You are the one you've been waiting for.
This is powerful medicine. Your conviction and your knowing are like magic: inspiring consistent action that happens with ease. I will say it again and again - you created what you have and you can create something entirely different. It is always your choice.
You are the one to make manifest what you most want.
Believe that you can have and will have what you want for yourself. Believe that you have the power and the conviction to make it happen and before your very eyes, breath by breath, day by day, action by action, you will make manifest that which you most want.
To you, and what you are creating in each and every moment, I bow.
